Participated in the Prof. Bennett Albert memorial Intercollegiate staff cricket tournament. Defeated the host College on the quarter finals and moved to semi final. Before the match, took a leisurely walk around the campus visiting a scenic lake inside the campus.
My admission experience at Madras Christian College was genuinely smooth and impressive. The campus atmosphere is calm, green, and very welcoming, giving a perfect balance of heritage and student life. The admission staff and faculty members were polite, helpful, and guided students patiently throughout the process. One thing that stood out was how organized the entire admission procedure was. Even with many students visiting, the coordination was handled well and doubts were clarified properly. The college infrastructure, iconic buildings, library facilities, and huge campus create a very motivating environment for academics and personal growth. MCC also feels culturally vibrant and student-friendly, with a strong reputation in academics, extracurricular activities, sports, and placements. The overall vibe of the college gives confidence that it’s a great place to study, grow, and build a future. Excited to begin my journey here!
Madras Christian College is one of the very lesser known colleges due to its location in Tambaram. As most of the arts colleges are located inside Chennai City centre, this is an exception which is in outer Chennai at Tambaram East. The college is located very close to the Tambaram Railway Station and it is at a walkable distance per se. The stark impression which the college makes on you as you enter its campus is the vast empty space with a good number of trees and the still silence which gives you a really good feel. Compared to other arts colleges, it is not very well crowded or populated but still has a considerable amount of students as an intake every year. The campus spans across a vast amount of space and there are multiple buildings spaced evenly among them at various quarters in the college with enough parking spaces and more importantly with a huge number of trees and makes it look lush green.
