Hotel Soft Petal (Hotel in salt lake, Kolkata)

Worst experience ever in my entire life. These people are nothing but scammers. And if you are not from kolkata or a local. Please be very aware. They'll literally scam you and take extra money. If you still wanna go. PLEASE DO NOT CANCEL YOUR ONLINE BOOKING, They'll ask you to do that, but please dont. Especially the Front Desk Lady/ Receptionist (SAYANTI HALDER), she's a big big scammer, she charged 1200 for literally 11 hours stay. She'll make your life hell. I literally have the pictures of the rooms and buildings. But they have disabled the option to upload pics from guests. They are not keeping it well maintained. THE ONLY REASON, THEY HAVE SUCH GOOD RATING IS BECAUSE THEY ASK THEIR OWN STAFF AND RELATIVES TO INCREASE THE RATING. DONT FALL INTO THIS TRAP.

It's clear they were trying to scam me. The room itself was in a terrible condition. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days, and the amenities were subpar. The staff's behavior was unprofessional and rude. The hotel's unprofessional behavior ruined my experience. Not worth the money. If you value your hard-earned cash, stay away from this place. Terrible experience. They are doing fraud and scam in the name of business.....Absolutely unprofessional, uncooperative and rude in his behaviour even when he is at his mistake. Unmannered and doesn't have any etiquette as how to talk and behave with two student girls who got late to check in after the exam. Without any prior information he gave his room to another person and rudely asked us to go for another room on another property saying otherwise he would cancel the booking. For two girls it's very harassing. I want the authority and local government to take strict action against this hotel and the receptionist. The other room that they provided was horribly unhygienic filled with spider nets, cockroaches and bed worms, room was stinky, washroom dirty, not even attended when requested for a room freshener....i would have liked to rate it in minus if there were such options available... please take the strictest action possible against that rascal receptionist... and I would highly recommend you all not to check in this hotel, especially girls and students if your safety and comfort is a concern. requesting the owner's attention... kindly don't always run after money...have some principles if anyone has your hotel with the full amount of money in advance then you can't and I shouldn't give that room to someone else without prior information.....
