Long past its best… whatever that was. I’ve stayed here twice and there won’t be a third time. Communication before you arrive = shambolic and unprofessional. Some random guy called “Ben” WhatsApp’d me to arrange a Mumbai airport pickup and he was barely understandable. I’m amazed I actually made it to the hotel. How can an international brand consider that appropriate? Booking policies are confused and confusing = my company travel agent booked direct which somehow meant that I didn’t get the company rate. No breakfast included, no cars to office. When I asked why I was told “because you’re on a corporate rate sir”. Completely nonsensical. Rooms = tired, old and look like they’ve not been refreshed since 1990. Food and beverage = the Chinese restaurant was decent, the breakfast buffet poor. Loads of people running about but seemingly little order. I checked-out early because one night was enough. To be fair the duty manager Swati was extremely professional and polite, but she’s the diamond on an otherwise very rough and ready experience.
My colleagues and I stayed here recently for 5 nights. Check-in was easy enough and friendly welcome. Hotel itself is nice and well kept. Rooms are small but manageable, however could use updating. Minimal outlets for charging and no USB outlets. Hair dryer, which is small, is connected inside of a drawer making very difficult to use. My rain shower head was not working in the shower. Even one of the lampshades in the bedroom was all frayed and falling apart. Breakfast room staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was good and I enjoyed the fresh boiled eggs each morning with a nice pot of tea. Overall a nice stay but rooms need help.
Exceptional stay at the Hyatt. The hospitality and integrity here are unmatched. A huge standout was the specialized children’s menu—the meals are high-quality and perfectly catered to young palates. Honestly, the food quality surpassed every other 5-star I’ve visited, including Blue Diamond by Taj. We felt welcomed from the moment we stepped in. I’ll definitely be back for the dining. Highly recommended!
