Visited Double Roti for a family lunch and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. The place has a fun, casual vibe that works really well for groups and families who just want to relax and enjoy good comfort food. We tried the Butter Fried Chicken Burger and the BFC, and both were absolutely top notch. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and packed with flavour, easily one of the better burgers I’ve had in Chennai. Portions were generous and everything came out fresh and hot. We ended the meal with the High on Brownie, which was the perfect to wrap things up. Rich, indulgent, and great for sharing. Service was friendly and quick, and the overall dine-in experience felt smooth and welcoming. Great food, good portions, and a lively atmosphere — definitely a place I’d return to with family. Highly recommended if you’re craving burgers and comfort food in Chennai...
Okay here's a brutally honest take of the double t roti. I probably won't come back. While the food is good, I have thoughts 1. peri peri tender chicken for starters - we'll made dish and very well presented. Now the quantity is obviously gonna be less for the cost, but does it really have to be? Portion size can be better. Great accompaniments of sauces. 2. Double smash illegal burger - this is one thick burger with a great filling of the beef. Great bread too.. But it just wasn't juicy and the caramelised onions didn't pack that much richness. It's a goood burger..but it's not great. 3. Service - they're fantastic . Very attentive, very eager, and very professional. But a bit too attentive and hovering around for my liking. You guys are genuinely great and I loved everything about you, but We'll surely call you if we need you.. 4. Music - blaring. Let's be clear - no one comes to double roti to listen to music, nor is this a dancing club. Your music policy needs to change. 5. Google reviews - asking for reviews is OK. Don't push it. And don't ask for yourself to be named. Any review which mentions a specific waiters name is obviously requested for - and please understand thats not how reviews work. The management really needs to fix this and if you're the guys forcing your waiters to do this - then I feel sorry for them. The food was gooood. But that's about it.
The interior is a high-energy mix of pop art and neon. That mural with the glowing yellow glasses isn't just a design choice, it’s a mood. For someone with an eye for photography, the lighting and the "Who Let the Dawgs Out?" wall graphics provide plenty of opportunities to capture some striking frames. It’s loud, quirky, and definitely breaks the monotony of a professional routine. The burger is the undisputed star here (spl mention - Area 69 Burger). We’re talking a towering, multi-layered masterpiece with a perfectly fried egg, melted cheese, and crisp bacon. It’s messy in the best way possible. The bun holds up surprisingly well against the weight of the patty and toppings. These are served with thick-cut, golden, and well seasoned Fries, serving as the perfect sidekick to the heavy-hitting main course. If you’re feeling particularly ambitious (or just exceptionally hungry), their "Pit Daddy" platters look like a meat-lover's dream, complete with ribs and a cold brew to wash it down. While it’s a far cry from a minimalist space or a fiber-heavy meal of carrots and cucumbers, that’s exactly why it works. It’s a dedicated "cheat day" destination that rewards a long week with bold flavors and a fun atmosphere.
