We (my wife and I) stayed here for about 9 days (starting Feb 24)and it was 8 days too long. I provided this feedback to their management team in writing as well as verbally. I give them credit to seek my feedback and took it very professioanlly (kudos for they ). It is no way near ITC level service and accommodations, like they have in Mumbai (have stayed there since its opening near airport) as well as is Delhi. And much lower level than Oberoi. Service was slow to clean tables from previous use, slow to set up table, get tea orders, etc. Rooms are dated. Lobby and hallways are very beautiful and well kept. They were too busy at all levels trying to appease few cricket players staying there for World Cup (they were star stuck), forgot normal business (I had stayed here back in Oct as well) and leisure customers. Even checking in at nite seem burdensome and bell service was nowhere to find to help with luggage. Only bright spot was our butler, Yash, he was very pleasant and helpful with reservation, checking up on us, etc. He always had a smile and easy going attitude. We are also shareholders of ITC hotels and ITC so I always supported them. Going forward I have to rethink it. We checked out and stayed at Hyatt Regency in Ahmedabad, experience there was outstanding and room/hotel is modern, very comfortable accommodations and service was very good.

We recently hosted a grand wedding here. The property is top notch. Mr Sarabjit and Shiv particularly took great care of our and our guests needs. Overall everyone enjoyed the stay and the food. Only suggestion would be better planning/flexibility/control of room allocations for social events like weddings where proximity to near and dear ones' rooms further enhances the experience. We did receive some rooms later than the agreed checkin time, however, we also got a few rooms for early check in, so a little neutral in that front.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ Important note upfront: Check-in took longer than expected. We had to wait around 15 minutes to get our room at about 9 pm, which is not ideal after a long day of travel and meetings. I have stayed at several hotels in Ahmedabad over multiple visits. This time, on a colleague’s recommendation, we tried ITC Narmada for a two-night business trip. The property is clearly one of ITC’s marquee hotels in the city—a tall, well-maintained building with a very premium feel. The rooms are spacious and luxuriously done, with twin beds that were extremely comfortable. The bathrooms and showers are massive—almost unusually large—though the room itself could have benefited from a bigger work desk, which was missing for business use. I also noticed a few minor maintenance issues in parts of the room that could use attention. The in-room tea and coffee setup deserves special mention. Excellent quality, with ITC’s own coffee options and a nice selection of international teas—very classy. Breakfast was elaborate and the food quality was excellent. There was a strong focus on Indian and Gujarati dishes along with Western options. However, the seating layout felt awkward. The dining area seems to spill across multiple rooms, and the space near the food counters gets narrow and crowded during peak morning hours, making movement difficult. Overall, a very good luxury stay with great food and comfortable rooms, though the check-in delay, breakfast layout, and a few maintenance points kept it from being perfect. I am also curious how the open internal design of the building performs during peak summer heat—something to observe on a future visit.
