Jor Shor - Restaurant & Banquet Hall | Ahmedabad

I visited Jor Shor Restaurant and Banquet today and had a very disappointing experience, especially regarding hygiene. The juice bottles served were not clean, and the caps were visibly dirty. There were even black fungus spots clearly visible, which is extremely concerning from a health and safety perspective. When we brought this to the owner’s attention and requested that all such bottles be discarded for customer safety, he strongly denied the issue. Instead of addressing the concern responsibly, the owner behaved rudely and told us to finish our food and leave. He even offered to refund the bill, but we made it clear that our concern was not about money—we simply wanted them to take proper action to ensure hygiene and safety for all customers. Unfortunately, he refused to take any corrective steps. This kind of attitude toward hygiene and customer feedback is unacceptable. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their standards.

I recently visited Jor Shoor Restaurant and had an okay experience overall. The service was good, with staff being attentive and friendly. The place lives up to its name with over 100 + item food and drink options — from refreshing Green Apple and Blue Lagoon drinks,cold drinks to pizzas, pani puri, chaats, noodles, and so much more. Ended the meal on a sweet note with classic jalebi and gulab jamun. The Food was good & taste was good, what I really like abt this place is the buffet,Rotis and Dessert.

We visited Jor Shor Restaurant – Science City branch on Dhuleti expecting a good experience, but it was quite disappointing. First, many items were not available. There were no pastries and no puff base pizza, which were some of the items we specifically came for. What was even more concerning was the hygiene issue. Near the area where the buttermilk disposable glasses were kept, we saw cockroaches, which is extremely unhygienic and unacceptable in a food place. On a busy festival day like Dhuleti, we expected better preparation and cleanliness. Overall, the experience was not pleasant, and the restaurant seriously needs to improve availability of items and hygiene standards.
