Had lunch at Shalimar Hotel in Byculla and decided to try their Bheja Masala with Butter Naan. Dining alone sometimes helps you focus on the food instead of conversations, which in this case turned out to be a good thing. The Bheja Masala was exceptionally well prepared, fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. It had a rich texture and balanced spices that paired wonderfully with the soft, buttery naan. Every bite felt satisfying without being overly heavy. The ambience is pleasant and comfortable, making it a nice place to enjoy a relaxed meal. The restaurant is well known for its Mughlai cuisine and offers a wide variety of dishes for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or simply looking for a good meal on your own, Shalimar Hotel is definitely worth a visit. Great food, good ambience, and a consistently enjoyable dining experience.

Taste of each dish was really amazing. We tried: Mutton biryani, cheesy chicken kebab & Dragon falooda. Falooda is worth to have. The best I ever ate. The place is so spacious. Staffs are also very helpful and polite. Sreenath helped us with the menu and it was genuinely so sweet of him.

Had a wonderful experience at Shalimar Restaurant, Mumbai. The food was absolutely delicious and the quality was top-notch. I tried the Chauranga Platter, Butter Chicken, and Afghani Chicken — everything was full of flavour and perfectly cooked. The platter was especially very tasty and a great option to try different items. For dessert, I had the Gulab Special Faluda, and it was amazing - refreshing, rich, and the perfect ending to the meal. Overall, great food, great taste, and a very satisfying experience. Highly recommended! 😊
