Roast CCX - Coffee & Culinary Xperience

Roast Hyderabad is an absolute delight and a welcome addition to the city’s dining scene. Visiting Hyderabad after two years, it was amazing to find such a huge, vibrant, and well thought out space that offers something for everyone. From breakfast and croissants to desserts and lunch, the variety is impressive, catering to all kinds of tastes and preferences. The ambience is spacious and airy, giving a refreshing feel compared to many other restaurants in the city. It’s clear that the place is designed for comfort, and while it gets quite busy in the evenings, visiting in the early afternoon makes for a much more relaxed experience. We tried several items, including their cookies, desserts, and the breakfast platter, and everything was exceptionally good, fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The desserts in particular stood out, offering a perfect balance of taste and texture. Overall, Roast Hyderabad feels like a breath of fresh air in the city. Whether you’re looking for a relaxing breakfast, a casual lunch, or indulgent desserts, it’s a place that caters to all, with great food, a welcoming ambience, and plenty of space. A must visit for anyone in Hyderabad looking for variety and quality.

We stumbled upon this amazing café by chance on Google Maps while we were nearby, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the valet, who promptly parked our car. As we stepped inside, we were instantly captivated by the ambience. Every detail of the space reflected the passion of a true coffee connoisseur, thoughtfully expressed through the café’s elegant and carefully curated design. The café offers an impressive selection of freshly roasted coffee bean varieties, primarily sourced from the Nilgiri and Chikmagalur regions, along with distinctive blends from various renowned roasteries. It also features an array of traditional and modern brewing equipment and espresso machines from Italy and other parts of the world, making it a haven for coffee enthusiasts. You can personally smell each coffee variety and order your own brew which is amazing. More than just a café, it is also a refined konditorei and confectionery, serving a range of authentic bakery delicacies that are equally exceptional. And not to mention, there are also amazing options for healthy breakfast and other traditional Hyderabadi meals that one can relish with coffee and cakes. The only points to improve were not all waiters were equally enthusiastic and almost all the orders we initially placed were first accepted by then and only to be told later that the items are either out of stock or not served at this time. Our request to also make the omelette fully done and not runny was ignored and not passed on to the kitchen by the waiters nor did they oblige to later fully Cook the omlettes, leading us to a very disappointing breakfast experience as we just find uncooked and runny eggs unpalatable. However we would return to the café again for a coffee and cake experience again as they make the best espresso and cappuccino in town.

We visited Roast CCX and overall had a very good dining experience. All the items we ordered were well-prepared and met expectations in terms of taste and quality. The Garlic Bread (Cheese) was served warm with a good balance of garlic flavor and melted cheese. The bread was crisp on the outside and soft inside, making it a satisfying starter and a good accompaniment to the rest of the meal. The Nachos (Veg) were fresh and nicely presented. The chips were crisp, and the toppings were well-balanced without being soggy or overly heavy. It worked well as a sharing dish and tasted consistent with café-style expectations. The Vanilla Berliner was a pleasant dessert option. It was soft, fresh, and lightly sweet, with the vanilla filling complementing the dough well. It was not overly sugary and made for a nice way to end the meal. Coming to the beverages, we ordered Mochaccino, Choco-nut Latte, and Caffe Latte (Cinnamon). All the coffees were good and well-made, with each having its own distinct flavor profile. The Mochaccino had a nice balance of coffee and chocolate, the Choco-nut Latte was smooth and mildly nutty, and the Cinnamon Latte had a subtle spice that blended well with the coffee. Overall, the coffee quality was consistent and enjoyable. In summary, Roast CCX delivers a solid café experience with good food and well-prepared beverages. Everything we ordered was good, making it a reliable place to visit for casual dining, coffee, and light bites.
