Shangri-La Bengaluru

I had a very pleasant stay at Shangri-La Bengaluru, and I would especially like to thank two members of the team who made my stay memorable. First, I would like to sincerely thank my chauffeur, Mr. Murali. Bengaluru traffic can be extremely chaotic and congested, but his perfect driving made the city feel much more bearable and comfortable. He went far beyond simply being a driver — he guided me throughout the city, helped me understand the local areas, and made the journey smooth and stress-free. In my experience, he is truly one of the best drivers in Bengaluru. I would also like to thank Sous Chef Yadav for his excellent hospitality. He gave very thoughtful advice on menu choices, room service options, and packed lunch arrangements. His recommendations were excellent, and I greatly appreciated his kind gesture and personal attention. Overall, Shangri-La Bengaluru’s F&B quality was very impressive. In particular, the bread and baguette selection was among the best I have experienced in India. The complimentary baguette served in the Horizon Club Lounge was honestly even tastier than some paid bread items I have had at other leading luxury hotels in India. One suggestion I would like to make is that Shangri-La Bengaluru should consider presenting and selling its high-quality bread, chocolates, and dessert selections for retail more prominently, similar to how Taj or Oberoi showcase their signature gourmet products in a hamper box. The quality is excellent, but I feel it is currently undersold and deserves much more recognition. I stayed here for one evening last week for a work trip. The hotel is absolutely stunning . Beautiful and stylish rooms , fabulous bath and bathroom , exceptionally clean. The staff are all very helpful and warm. I had the opportunity to dine for breakfast in the b cafe and the same with dinner. Wow !! Selection and food quality is the best I’ve ever had at any hotel. I loved the hotel and experience so much I have booked a weeks holiday there and the staff have been attentive and quick to help me secure the booking . Looking forward to my stay in May ! I had a really great experience using the hotel’s tailoring service and would definitely recommend it. Vinodh provided an excellent service — he was professional, friendly, and made the whole process very easy and comfortable. I had eight items altered, including dresses, trousers, a jacket, and a skirt repair, and I was really pleased with both the quality of the work and the overall service. Everything was completed quickly, and the finished items fit perfectly. The convenience of having the tailoring service arranged directly at the hotel was a huge plus. Overall, I’m extremely happy with the service and would highly recommend Vinodh to anyone staying at the hotel who needs any alterations or repairs done. FYI all of the tailored items came to around £16
