Anand Sweets - Jayanagar

We live in USA, had a social event on Jan 1in Bengaluru and had ordered 65 gift boxes of 300 grams each of assorted sweets and gave it to our invitees. We came back home by mid January and opened the remnant sweet boxes and saw that specially selected ‘gulkund ganache’ had been replaced by an inexpensive dessert. So I messaged my family and friends- only about 50% had received our original order- this is a trivial issue but didn’t expect this from a store of good reputation. It is only a question of few rupees but this carelessness/ incompetence is not acceptable. The store knows these were gifts and didn’t expect me to verify it. On the positive side the desserts and savory were very delicious. Also customer service concept is not known to them ( we visited when it had opened and there were very few customers). But overall the products are really good and incompetence and bad customer service is part of Indian business model which we have to sadly accept. The first picture is the sample box, the second picture is the replaced sweet instead of the gulkund ganache. No big deal…

Wide variety of sweets and savories to choose from. Traditional Indian sweets to Western bakery varieties, they also have a small selection of middle eastern sweets like kunafa and baklava. Would recommend Anand sweets for the quality and consistency. Good place to buy sweets and savories for gifting. They also have a chaats restaurant inside which serves fresh chaats like samosa,bhel,tikki, kachori, dokla,kandvi etc.

Great place for fresh deserts and sweeets... Prahlad is great guy... very fast n down to earth. There's no parking board right infront of the store so had difficulty parking my bike.
