Subpar food, surprised to see such high ratings on Google. I'm not someone who's very critical when it comes to food reviews but the food here was extremely bad. Starters 1) Paneer Basil Strips - it was just an outer green coloured paneer pieces (not strips, just regular thin paneer pieces) which was absolutely bland. No flavour at all, such a disappointment. 2) Cheese Garlic Bread with Mozzarella - it was just plain bread with cheese on top, there was barely any hint of garlic. Portion size was laughably small. Another disappointment. Pizzas - decent pizza, crust wasn't the best but nothing too negative. Service - staff are friendly but the orders take a lot of time to get served. One of starters was served only after we completed the pizzas Our host did ask us feedback regarding the food and upon communicating that it wasn't good he did offer us a free dessert on the restaurant which was politely declined but it was good to see that approach instead of upfront denial. Lot of room for improvement, hope the management can really look into this and work on it. Highly disappointing experience, wouldn't recommend PizzaExpress to anyone.
While we have seen this many a times, didn't bother to eat here, thinking it was a regular pizza outlet. However, a family friend recommended this place for some lip smacking food here. That's when we went out on 14th Feb as a family of 10. I'd say it was good. Their pizzas and speghetti, BBQ chicken wings, pastas etc. was excellent. The downside is, quantity is bit less for the price of each dish, which is absolutely ok for me. But when it comes to sharing a dish, the bowl gets empty instantly..;-)😂 Ambience and decor is apt and astheticly beautiful for and evening meal. Service is longer on rush days Overall it's worth it for the price you pay. Pls note service charges comes as staff support at 10% which is pretty much ok for me.
Experienced the crunchiest pizza ever here which is the queen Margherita 14" Romana which is the thin crust variant. While the pizza was good, it was just way too light, felt like I could eat 3 of them no issues, very light on the cheese and base, but flavours were up there. Sticky Toffee Brownie was good too, for drinks I tried the cold mocha which was thankfully not too sweet.
