Taj City Centre, Gurugram

I attended an IPO celebration event for our company, NFP Sampoorna Foods Ltd, at Taj City Centre Gurugram and honestly the overall experience was really premium and memorable. The ambience, hospitality, food, event management, and staff behavior were all top-class. Everything was organized beautifully and the hotel truly gives a luxury feel. It was a proud and special moment for us to celebrate such a big occasion there. But one thing genuinely surprised me. The water coming in the washroom looked a bit dirty/muddy, as if the water tank needed proper cleaning or the filtration system had some issue. This felt very strange because Taj is such a reputed and trusted hotel brand, and honestly I never expected something like this there. In a luxury hotel, even small hygiene details matter a lot. Apart from this issue, everything else was excellent and the staff was very polite and professional. Overall, it was a great experience and a memorable event, but I hope the hotel management seriously checks the water quality issue because guests definitely notice these things.

We had a wonderful stay. The lady at the front desk was very warm, polite, and helpful. She kindly upgraded our room to a suite, which made our stay even more special. All the staff were courteous and attentive throughout. Thank you to the entire team for the excellent hospitality. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Taj City Centre Gurugram under a package that included two breakfasts and two complimentary beers. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to what was promised at the time of booking. Firstly, while the package clearly mentioned complimentary beer, I was later informed that only select brands were eligible. This restriction was never communicated upfront and feels misleading. A benefit shouldn’t come with hidden conditions that are disclosed only at the time of use. Secondly, due to a change in my plans, I had to check out earlier and would miss one of the included breakfasts. When I requested an adjustment, I was informed that only a cold breakfast could be provided instead. This is not a reasonable substitute, especially when the original offering was a full breakfast experience. A more flexible or equivalent alternative should have been considered. For a property positioned as premium, this rigid and somewhat inflexible approach to guest service is disappointing. While the property and facilities may be good, the lack of transparency and unwillingness to accommodate reasonable requests took away from the overall experience.
