Visited Mandi Chowk at Rajiv Chowk and tried their grilled chicken mandi. The overall food experience was average. The chicken, in particular, was not very tasty and lacked the authentic mandi flavor I was expecting. The rice was okay and decent, but nothing exceptional. The chutney was honestly not good at all and did not complement the dish, which was a bit disappointing. On the positive side, the mayonnaise was good and probably the best part of the meal. I have experienced much better mandi at several other places, so my expectations were a bit higher. That said, it’s also possible that this particular style or taste just didn’t suit my palate. However, where this place really shines is the ambience and service. The ambience is excellent — clean, spacious, and well maintained — easily a 5/5. The staff were polite, attentive, and quick with service, which also deserves a solid 5/5. Pricing felt slightly on the higher side for the taste and portion quality, so I’d rate it around 3.5/5. Overall, it was an okay experience. Good ambience and service, but the food did not stand out for me. Might be worth a try once, especially if you’re nearby.
