The temple is a unique place of worship of Anjeneya Swamy and two sides are located Shri Ram Lakshman Sita Hanuman ji deity and on the other side facing is Shiva linga temple ( Shiva linga is of unique green colour ). The deities are located on top of the hillock. In the initial part before proceeding to the main temple is Ganesha, Navagraha and Raj Rajeshwari temple. The complex is very well maintained with rare old blooming trees. On one side of the temple is a gigantic Dasa shilayam carved deity of Shri Bramha Vishnu Maheswara. There is provision for giving annadana in front of Annapurna deity for Rs 10 and other amounts and Tula varanam also. Keep the receipt of this, at the entrance of the temple in the courtyard there is a counter where you can get Prasad by showing these receipts. There is also separate free Prasad que. Different type of archanam is done to the deities at different times. A must visit place.
It is such an amazing place with a serene atmosphere and peaceful ambience. The temples are really beautiful and show glimpses of the old Bengaluru charm. Annadana is done on every Saturday in the adjacent hall where you can eat to your heart's fill with the blessings of God. The statues at the back are also very majestic and divine.
A very old and spiritually significant Hanuman temple located in the heart of South Bangalore. Ragigudda Anjaneya Temple sits atop a small hill, offering a peaceful escape from the city’s hustle despite being surrounded by busy residential areas. The temple is well maintained, clean, and organized, with a strong sense of devotion throughout the day. The idol of Lord Hanuman is powerful and serene, and the overall atmosphere feels calm and positive. The view from the hilltop is an added bonus, especially during early mornings and evenings. It can get quite crowded on Tuesdays, Saturdays, and during Hanuman Jayanti, but the darshan is usually well managed. Parking is available nearby, though it may require a short walk during peak hours. A must-visit place for devotees and anyone looking for a quiet, spiritual spot within the city. Highly recommended for a peaceful visit and blessings 🙏 Prefer coming in two wheeler rather than a car.
