The One, Le Meridien

The One is the main all-day dining restaurant at Le Méridien New Delhi, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. During breakfast, the buffet offers a wide variety of choices, with a significant portion dedicated to Indian cuisine. Guests looking to explore local flavors will likely appreciate the selection, although the international breakfast options felt fairly average. I also tried the à la carte menu for lunch and dinner, which was a much better experience. The chicken tikka was flavorful and well-prepared, while the mutton biryani was the standout dish. The portion was generous, and the rice was rich, aromatic, and packed with flavor. It was certainly a satisfying meal, but also not very healthy with the rich flavour. Unfortunately, the service during à la carte dining was inconsistent. While the staff were polite, they often seemed distracted and not particularly attentive. On an occasions, I made a request to a staff member, only to watch them walk away and start a conversation with another colleague. My request was then completely forgotten, requiring me to ask again later. This created the impression that the service team was not fully focused on guests’ needs.

On our recent trip to India, decided on lunch at One , looks great after renovations. Staff are welcoming, friendly and professional. Sparsh did an excellent job and provided great service. We had various kebab dishes along with dal makhani as well as naans snd parathas. All kebabs were perfectly cooked and delicious and the breads were done well. The Martinis were tasty and potent !!

Great food and even better vibe! Ordered the club sandwich and masala tea for an evening snack — both were absolutely delicious. The flavors were fresh, comforting, and perfectly balanced. The service was warm and attentive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. A wonderful spot to relax and unwind with good food and great vibes!
