My employer frequently gets snacks from here for all small celebrations / events and they say that the prices are reasonable as well (but won't call it cheap). Taste wise they are actually awesome and their products are top notch. Probably one of the best bakeries in Kolkata I discovered just recently. I will surely give a direct visit soon and cover it for my YouTube (Kipte Petuk). My favourites - Tuna Sandwich Jam Muffins Chicken Patties Cheese Puff Least favourite Coconut Puff - Too Sweet!
It's my first time visiting Saldanha just before Christmas hence my experience was good. Though I got limited options to choose from but my overall experience was satisfactory.Well trained staffs. I tried their coconut macaroons which were perfectly done. Soft juicy coconut inside and sweetness was well balanced. I got their Christmas cake which was also fresh and tasted good.
What's more to stay for a place where you've visiting since childhood. A place that is an institution when it comes to confectionery, Christmas and Kolkata. Whatever item you pick will leave a lasting impression for sure. Their fruit cake is to die for, literally! One of the best you'll find in the City. Their walnut cake is comfort on winter evenings with a cup of coffee and lots of gossip. Be it brownies or rum ball, they are masters of the craft and the products speak for it!
