Went there for lunch, had to wait for an hour to get a table for two. Ordered the chicken wontons (highly recommended, loved it) - 10/10. Golden prawn fry - 7/10, Mixed fried rice (without the pork) - 10/10 (loved it), Tausi Chicken -7.5/10 (kinda tasted like jajameyon ramen if anyone has tried it will know) Honestly, staff was quite polite but needed to be reminded again and again for bringing something, also they mistakenly gave our order to someone else at first so yeah need to be a little more attentive I'd say, rest the food is great👍🏻

Tried the mixed steamed wonton, fried pork wonton, coriander burnt garlic mixed rice, and pork in oyster sauce. The steamed wontons were excellent—soft, delicate, and truly melt-in-the-mouth. The fried pork wontons were crisp and well done. The coriander burnt garlic mixed rice was flavorful and satisfying. However, the pork in oyster sauce was on the sweeter side, which slightly overpowered the expected savory depth of the dish. Overall, a good spot for Asian comfort food, especially for wontons and rice dishes. Would recommend, though a better balance in sweetness for some mains would elevate the experience. 📍 Easy to reach and conveniently located in central Kolkata.

After coming across many reviews of this eatery, reached here in an evening. Truly, the price of the items we ordered were economical, which is very appreciable. Coming to the taste of the foods, it's as follows Chicken Lat Me Kai (4/5): The gravy was notably tasty in sweet, tangy and spicy notes. This was the first time we tried out this dish and it was the best one I had here that day. But I was disappointed with and didn't quite like the chewy, rubbery chicken of this dish. Veg Nasi Go Reng Fried Rice (2/5): Not very bad in taste. But I found it quite bland. Hot Garlic Chicken (3.75/5): The taste of its gravy was good and pleasurable, though nothing very extraordinary. Kung Pao Chicken (3.5/5): The gravy had Cashews in good amount. The chicken pieces of this dish tasted more enjoyable than that of the Hot Garlic Chicken. However, it was a bit too tangy for my taste and sometimes heavy and blunt in taste too; it could have used a little more sweetness. The place was spacious and seating arrangement too was good. However, personally, I do not like dark themes in eateries. In short, not bad for one time experience. If I visit Sei Vui again, I will try out their other dishes and know how they taste really. 🤌
