Visited Muttuswamy Restaurant and had a very pleasant experience. The staff was extremely professional and patient throughout — never once did they rush or disturb us. The food was delicious, and the team even checked in to ensure everything was to our liking, which was a thoughtful touch. The Medu Wada was perfectly crisp on the outside and soft inside, served hot and fresh. The Masala Dosa had a generous, flavorful potato filling with a beautifully golden, crispy cover. The Sada Dosa was light, thin, and perfectly roasted. The Idly was soft, fluffy, and melted in the mouth. The Filter Coffee was strong, aromatic, and authentically South Indian. The Coin Podi Idly was bite-sized, soft, and generously coated with flavorful podi, making it absolutely irresistible. The Strawberry Milkshake was thick, refreshing, and nicely balanced in sweetness. Would definitely recommend this place for a relaxed and comfortable dining experience.
We had Medu vada: 5/5 Special benne dosas: 4/5 Filter coffee: 4/5 Rasam glass: 5/5 Masala uttapam: 2.5/5 Service was excellent and prompt. Ambient was classy. They have valet for parking, and they usually park on the street outside. Coming to food, all chutneys and sambar was very tasty. Medu vadas were excellently cooked. Rasam was tasty but quantity was very less. They serve it in coffee glass. Podi on benne dosas was good. Coffee was decent. Masala uttapam was a let down. Didn’t taste good. They also have thali at ₹349, but very less items and it’s not completely South Indian.
If you want to enjoy the authentic and delicious south indian dishes in Pune this is one of the best option for you ! Staff is well behaved, polite with prompt service... I personally liked benne dosas options with added podi in it... That blend of podi chatani and ghee is really mouthwatering !! One more advantage of this place is calm n quiet atmosphere which is rare nowadays in trending restaurants...
