UPAR Hotels Nungambakkam

I traveled to Chennai twice for my visa process—first for biometrics and then a week later for the consular interview. I stayed at this hotel on both occasions. My first stay (Room 101) was excellent. The reception staff were professional and welcoming, and the room was impeccably prepared—clean, bright, and fully equipped with all amenities in working order. During my second stay (Room 209), the experience was decent but slightly less seamless. The toilet paper was damp due to its placement near the shower and had to be replaced. There was some noise from outside the room, and the lighting felt comparatively dimmer than during my first visit. That said, the stay was still comfortable overall. The location is a major advantage, being very close to both visa office locations. Overall, I had a pleasant experience. A couple of suggestions: 1. Breakfast could ideally be complimentary. Charging ₹150 feels a bit unnecessary, especially since the spread is fairly basic. 2. Please consider providing a dental kit (particularly toothpaste) in the room, as this is commonly offered by similar hotels. Everything else was great!
