The Pattice is affordable and it's fresh crispy and hot Though we need extra 1rs for the ketchup It's really worth it Please note that this is only the OG Santosh Backery

We went there after we heard about the all the reviews and it is definitely worth it. It seems very old fashioned and local and tastes much better than all new trendy bakeries. We had their pattice and bread roll. It tastes sooo good. Authentic taste. We also bought coconut cookies, cashew cookies and muffins. Definitely must visit place.

Santosh Bakery on Apte Road in Pune is one of the city’s oldest and most beloved bakeries, established in 1968 and known especially for its freshly baked veg puffs (pattice) and coconut cake that draw crowds daily. Customers often praise the bakery for its authentic, freshly made products at reasonable prices and nostalgic, traditional bakery flavours that have remained consistent over the years. Many locals consider it a must-visit spot for quick bites like veg puffs, cream rolls, khari, and classic cakes, though there’s no seating and people usually eat standing or take items to go. While the overall experience is highly positive with strong ratings and loyal fans, some reviewers note occasional issues with hygiene, staff behaviour, or product quality lapses, and a few people feel the service can be a bit chaotic during peak hour
