I had a wonderful experience at Kanjivaram in Gurgaon. The restaurant offers complimentary valet parking, which made the visit very convenient and hassle-free. The food was delicious and authentic, with great taste and quality. The ambience was elegant and comfortable, perfect for a relaxed dining experience. We especially enjoyed the live music, which created a pleasant and lively atmosphere without being too loud. The service was excellent staff were polite, attentive, and quick to respond. A special mention that the final bill did not include any optional service charge, which was a nice and transparent touch. Overall, a great place for family dining and special occasions. Highly recommended!
We had to wait for nearly two hours on Sunday, so I would strongly advise against visiting during peak hours. It’s better to call ahead and confirm before going. Once inside, however, the wait feels worth it—the interiors are stunning. The place is designed like a traditional South Indian schoolhouse, complete with angans, music, pillars, brass plates, and authentic detailing. The ambience is truly captivating, and visiting for this experience alone is highly recommended. As for the food, here’s what we tried: Fried Idli (Cocktail Idli): ⭐ (1/5) – disappointing. Rawa Dosa: ⭐⭐⭐ (3/5) – decent but not exceptional. Cheese Paniyaram: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) – quite good. For Paneer Paniyaram though, I’d suggest Dosa Coffee at CP, Delhi, which serves the best. Papri Chaat: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ (4/5) – typical Punjabi-style chaat, enjoyable. Overall, the food didn’t fully meet my expectations in terms of taste, but the ambience and decor are outstanding and make the visit worthwhile. 😊
Loved the place and ambience. Great customer service by Santosh. The food was yummy, worth experiencing this brilliance served with simplicity.
