Very Bad Experience – Not Recommended at All I had a very disappointing stay at Hotel Red York. When I arrived, I was told to wait for almost 1 hour because the room door was under repair. After finally handing over the room, the problems didn’t stop there. Washroom door lock was not working Floor condition was extremely bad, no proper cleaning at all When we tried to adjust the fan, it short-circuited automatically, which is very unsafe The next morning, the breakfast quality was terrible: The sabji was completely cold, not hot at all. Even the puri was served cold When we complained about all these issues at the reception, the response from the hotel owner was very rude and unprofessional. He clearly said: “Hamare yahan aisa hi hai, agar nahi chahiye to check-out kar sakte ho.” Our booking was from 5 Feb 2026 to 10 Feb 2026, but due to these continuous issues and poor behavior, we were forced to check out on 6 Feb itself. This hotel lacks: Basic maintenance Cleanliness Safety Customer respect Overall, it was a waste of money and time. I strongly do NOT recommend Hotel Red York to anyone. Please think twice before booking this place.
Review Title: Extremely Disappointing and Unclean - Avoid THE RED YORK Rating: 1/5 Stars (Should be a 1-Star Hotel, Not 3-Star) Body: My stay at THE RED YORK was extremely disappointing and uncomfortable due to severe cleanliness and service issues. Major Concerns: Pest Infestation: I found cockroaches in the bedroom, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, let alone one claiming to be 3-star. Lack of Cleanliness: The basic hygiene standards were not met. Bed sheets were not changed daily, and the towels were not replaced with fresh ones. Mosquitoes: There was a noticeable presence of mosquitoes in the room, making it difficult to sleep comfortably. Poor Service: I brought these cleanliness issues to the staff's attention on multiple occasions, but the necessary improvements were not made in a timely manner. The staff was slow to respond, and the underlying issues persisted. Based on the poor level of maintenance, the severe lack of hygiene, and the unresponsive service, this hotel does not deserve its 3-star rating. It functions at a 1-star level at best. I strongly advise future travelers to look elsewhere.
Don't book based on google rating of 4.4. I had a bad experience during my stay Poor hygiene. Facilities are not good. Rooms are smaller than what they claim. Breakfast includes only 2-3 items. Bad service. Even basic amenities like towel, water were provided after several follow ups...
