Went to Solo’s for a sweet little dessert fix and was instantly taken back to my childhood memories of Portico — that classic ice cream parlour we all loved! Ever since Portico shut, there’s been a void in the city for an old-school yet quality ice cream experience. Thankfully, Solo’s fills that space beautifully. Tucked away in a quieter corner of FC Road, it’s the kind of spot where you can actually enjoy your dessert away from the traffic chaos. The vibe is cheerful yet calm, interiors are clean and inviting, and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. They serve a mix of chocolate based, fruit-based and dry fruit ice creams, falooda, sundaes, fruit salad with ice cream, and even their cheesecakes — each served with care and a sense of nostalgia. Presentation is neat and portions are generous. Some of my friends do find a few flavours slightly on the sweeter side, so it’s worth tasting before you buy. Seating is limited, so adding a bit more seating would definitely enhance the experience. Prices sit comfortably in the midrange bracket, making it a great value-for-money indulgence. Bonus points for consistency — they’ve got branches in Baner (their first), Koregaon Park, SB Road (Pavilion Mall), and now FC Road. And the best part — they’re open till 2 AM! I recently visited Solos FC Road and it’s honestly one of the best late-night ice cream spots I’ve come across. The ambience is super peaceful with good music playing in the background...perfect for just chilling and unwinding. The people there are really warm and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. They suggested a few desserts for me, and I’m so glad I listened! The chocolate mud pie is an absolute must-try. I also loved the tiramisu ice cream, black chocolate ice cream, and the blueberry and Biscoff cheesecake...everything was just too good. I first went there on my sister’s recommendation, and now I’ve become a regular. The vibes, the desserts and the overall experience...everything just hits right. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a late-night dessert spot in Pune!

Went to Solos for the first time. Outstanding experience. Great Latte and Americano with milk on the side. Excellent choice of ice cream flavors. Best part: they open till 1:30 AM. Definitely going again.
