Not Recommended – Repeated Flea Infection After Grooming My German Shepherd, Aria GST, recently visited CBC Pet Hospital for grooming. Unfortunately, this has been a very disturbing experience. This is NOT the first time—every single time after grooming, within one week, my dog develops a severe flea infestation. Earlier, I did not realize the cause. This time it became very clear: the fleas appeared immediately after grooming. She now has blood stains, red spots, wounds, and excessive hair fall all over her body due to fleas. This clearly points to poor hygiene and lack of flea control in the grooming area. When I raised this issue with the hospital, instead of taking responsibility or even investigating, they simply brushed it off, saying it must have happened outside the premises. This is unacceptable, especially when the same issue has occurred repeatedly only after grooming here. What’s worse: • The owner did not respond at all • The receptionist keeps replying on behalf of the owner • The owner’s contact is deliberately not shared • There is no accountability or concern for the pet’s suffering This behavior shows complete negligence and lack of professionalism. ⚠️ If you care about your pet’s safety and want a flea-free, hygienic grooming environment, I strongly do NOT recommend this place. My dog is now suffering because of their carelessness. Response to Owner- Thank you for confirming exactly why this review exists. Instead of discussing hygiene protocols or why my dog developed fleas within days of grooming — twice happened for info not once even last year same issue after grooming within one week (for note we didn’t travel anywhere apart from grooming)— you chose to label a concerned pet parent as ‘discount-focused’ and post irrelevant screenshots. For the record, accountability is not begging, and professionalism is not public shaming. Pet owners reading this can decide for themselves what matters more here: animal welfare or ego management.”

I recently dropped my dog in CBZ boarding, they took care of my dog Enzo very well and sent me timely updates. They fed him well and also played with him making him feel like home. I will definitely board my dog here next time too.
