Crowded.... Congested, Costly. The staff at the pulses and grains was good, kind and caring guy with adequate knowledge and patiently helping us in choosing the product. The staff the the desserts (sweets and snacks) were rustic. (Might be they were exhausted handling the crowd). Difficult to communicate with them also. Some local staff with local language might help. The pulses and grains are of top notch quality. Sweets were not at at sugary (not too sweet) can devour with less guilt 😜 But are expensive. Snacks were okok. I tried the thich Lassi, it was good. Wait for your turn and ask all the questions and choose the rice that suits you. Try a little quantity And if you like it then they will deliver to your home on WhatsApp orders. Parking is difficult. Over all Ambiance 6/10 (congested) Taste 8/10 Quality 9/10 Service 7/10 (for the old man at the grains 10/10) Value for money 8/10.

sweets here are extremely sugary while they may be authentic, they aren’t the best choice for your health. If you have a sweet tooth, you will probably enjoy them, but otherwise, it’s better to skip. Shop also offers a variety of dry fruits, which are worth checking out.

Emerald mithai shop is in the lowertank bund area. Basically a reputed mithai shop where every thing is made in pure ghee. Same establishment owns a dinning hall nearby there. When we went ( 8 people) there was full rush. We hadcto wait more than half an hour to get our turn. The food is served in Telangana style in banana leaf. All item taste telangana food. Chilli, Curry leaves and Garlic are main ingredients. You have only rice served there NO ROTIS. SAMBAR, RASAM, CURRIES, CHUTNEYS ( garlic chutney also), CURD AND buttermilk , dal were the main items with a sweet dish to conclude with. The best thing is it is belly fill means unlimited costonly ₹ 150 quite worth satisfactory and sumptuous.
