I’ve always enjoyed visiting Crossword Bookstores, and this store in particular stands out for its calm, well-maintained, and thoughtfully organized space. It’s clean, peaceful, and genuinely welcoming for anyone who enjoys slow, uninterrupted browsing. I really appreciate that the staff is polite and non-intrusive—they let readers explore without pressure, which is rare and refreshing. In terms of selection, Crossword does a great job with Indian fiction, self-help, and commercial titles. The Bestseller section near the billing counter is especially well curated and often makes discovering good books easy. I’ve also found some solid titles related to business, AI, and technology here. That said, I do feel there’s a noticeable gap when it comes to serious, high-quality non-fiction. Books in areas like science, psychology, nutrition, and in-depth business or management studies are limited. Many available non-fiction titles tend to be trend-based or overly commercial rather than well-researched or academic. Expanding this section—with works from reputed Indian and global authors—would significantly enhance the store’s value for serious readers. The children’s section is beautifully maintained, but the fiction section could benefit from better curation. At present, it feels crowded with repetitive, commercial titles from lesser-known authors. Including more meaningful, content-rich fiction from established writers would help Crossword continue to stand out as a destination for genuine book lovers. A few additional positives worth mentioning: • The washroom facilities are clean and well maintained, which really adds to the comfort of spending longer time in the store. • The stationery section is also quite good, with useful and well-displayed items.
