I am Saanvi Gandhi. Five days ago, I was admitted to the Pediatric Ward (4th Floor) at Manipal Hospital, Mukundapur due to ulcer pain. This was my first hospital experience in my 10 years of life, so I was very tense and scared. I am extremely afraid of injections. However, all the nurses, doctors, housekeeping aunties, and the food delivery aunties and uncles in this ward are very kind and caring. I troubled them a lot — whenever they came to give me an injection, I screamed loudly. But no one scolded me even once. Instead, they patiently explained everything to me in a very gentle and comforting way. Honestly, it never really hurt, but my fear made my condition worse. My bed number was 14. All the sisters (nurses) under whose care I stayed were very good. The Sister In-Charge of this floor, Ms. Kiran Wargi, explained everything to me very nicely and comforted me a lot. She also gave me beautiful advice so that I always listen to my mother and stay healthy, so that I do not fall sick again. I should have mentioned this earlier, but it got delayed. My treatment is under Dr. Bhaswati Acharyya (Pediatric Gastroenterologist), and her treatment approach is truly excellent. I had been vomiting for the last 15 days, but under her treatment my vomiting has completely stopped, and now I am fully recovered. Since my birth, I have been a patient of Dr. Jemsy Josh, Pediatrician at this hospital. Her diagnosis is also outstanding. Today is my discharge day. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone on this floor. —Saanvi Gandhi

Nurses were extraordinary. I would like to thank Subini Thomas, Samshad mam, Pratima, Sudeshna Madam. Also Food n beverage, housekeeping and the administrative staffs were very cooperative. Thank you 😊

Cabin 608 of Manipal Hospitals Mukundapur (which was AMRI Mukundapur earlier) was my home away from home from September 9 to September 13 as I was scheduled to undergo a surgery on September 10. Everything went smoothly and these are a few words of gratitude I want to convey. Firstly, a big thanks to my doctor, Dr. Nibedita Ray Gaheer, who handled a somewhat lengthy surgery and helped me on my path to better health and recovery. A big shoutout to all the nurses (Ankita, Geeta, Dolon, Deepa, and numerous others whose names I forgot to ask and notice) who took excellent care of me. You heroes made my recovery so much easier. Kudos! From the housekeeping staff and the food department guys to their respective department heads, the nursing head, the floor managers, admin heads, RMOs, and others who routinely visited to ask if everything's ok and whether we need anything, a BiG Thank You. When a welcoming setting, compassionate professionals, and tasty food (yup, we Bengalis love our food and you guys rocked even what was supposed to be bland food meant for patients) come together, you have a sure winner on your hands. And I experienced just that during my stay. Your in-house cafe (and in-room service) was another godsend for patient's family members. My husband, who stayed with me and ate the food, has specifically asked me to convey his thanks. So, Thank You. Lastly, my "thank you" goes to the housekeeping team for giving me a lovely jade plant as my get well soon parting gift. Each one of you has helped me during a troubled phase and I just wanted you all to know how thankful and grateful I am for what you have done. 😊
