Extremely Disappointing for a Place Known for Biryani I visited this restaurant with high expectations because it’s known for its biryani, but unfortunately the experience was a big letdown. We ordered: Malai Tikka Lollipop Masala Large Chicken Dum Biryani The Lollipop Masala was the only item that stood out. It was flavorful, almost like a Schezwan-style lollipop, and honestly the best part of the entire meal. The Malai Tikka, however, was very disappointing. The chicken was rubbery, didn’t taste fresh, and despite decent presentation, the flavor and texture were not enjoyable at all. Now coming to the main attraction - the Large Chicken Dum Biryani (around ₹600). For this price, getting only 3 pieces of chicken already felt underwhelming. The rice lacked the rich aroma and layered spices that you expect from a good dum biryani. There was barely any biryani masala, and while the chicken was technically well-cooked in dum style, it had very little flavor. Overall, the biryani felt plain, dull, and nowhere close to what a place with “Biryani” in its name should serve. What made it even more disappointing was that friends who had visited earlier said the food used to be much better - but this time none of us enjoyed it. Final verdict: For a restaurant called Biryani Darbar, the biryani does not live up to the name at all. I’m giving 2 stars only because of the Lollipop Masala. Everything else was far below expectations. I really hope they improve the consistency and quality because right now, it does not justify the price or reputation.

One of the best biriyani in town. Depth in flavour slow cooked meat. Even veg biriyani tastes good here. Combos are very price friendly. Very tasty and quality food. Fast service. Hygienic food.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Dining Experience We had a great experience at Biryani Darbar at Yashodham. The food was delicious with an authentic taste that truly stands out. The biryani and other dishes were flavorful and well prepared, and the overall quality of the food was excellent. The staff were very courteous attentive and polite which made the dining experience even better. The ambience is comfortable and the place is very suitable for families. Overall a wonderful place for good food and a pleasant time. Highly recommended and we will definitely visit again.
