Some outside guests were present, but the management took proper care of in-house guest security. I’ve stayed at multiple Zostels, and this property has a slightly different vibe. Overall, the vibe was good, though a few guests were disturbing. Last night, one person stayed in the common space without check-in. However, the management responded promptly when informed. The reception team arrived on time, remained polite, and clearly explained the rules. The guest, unfortunately, was rude. Overall, it was a nice stay at Zostel Hyderabad.

I stayed for 4 days over a peak time long weekends vacation. As one may expect the facility was packed. The establishment is good, typical zostel style and vibe, that too located at a prominent location. The particular area is not crowded at all but situated near enough to inter-city bus stops, office areas, metro, entertainment, and central town historical attraction. The service is also great, even over the busy weekends they managed to keep things in perfect order. The cafe is nice, the wait time is not too long, the food taste good, the portion size is adequate, some items may feel a bit overpriced for the backpacker community. Now, coming to the room. I stayed in a six-bed mix dorm, lower berth. The room size is fine, the washroom has all the amenities one may regularly need, the cleaning is good. However, there are no curtains. This creates two major issues: 1. You have to be very careful about not ruining the sleep of other people if you turn on the light in your room. Even your cellphone light and bedside lamp may obstruct their sleep and vice-versa. 2. While sleeping people may seek a little bit of privacy, especially solo travellers. A single curtain goes a long way for comfort and gives a certain control. This is most likely a zostel policy and the particular establishment had little control over it.

The property is impeccably maintained with a wonderful ambience. The staff is warm and welcoming, creating an overall positive atmosphere. During my 4-day stay, I found myself drawn to the café every day — their playlist was so good that I never once felt like working from my room.
