We visited Chaitanya in Dadar, Mumbai, for the first time with a group of four, and it turned out to be one of the best places for authentic Konkan Malvani food. The place is always crowded, so be prepared to wait for 20–40 minutes, though you can also call and reserve a table in advance. The seating area is small, but the food is absolutely delicious. Prices depend on the current fish rates. We tried the special prawns thali, surmai thali, crab thali, and veg kaju masala, kothimbir Wadi. The prawns fry was absolutely delicious. The surmai thali had big fried pieces and tasted amazing. The bhakri was soft and fresh, and the amboli was very soft and freshly prepared. The best part was the unlimited solkadi. The crab thali was also excellent, with perfectly fried crab. We also tried modak, which was beautifully prepared—perfectly cooked with no excess flour. Service was quick, and our food arrived within 5–10 minutes. The staff was very polite and helpful. Kunal, in particular, attended to us and helped us choose the right dishes. Highly recommended for seafood lovers! 🐟🍤 Must try crab thali, Modak, surami thali

Thus place serves the most delicious kokani sea food in mumbai. I went with friends here.. We tried Pomfret thali, Prawns fry, Pomfret fry, Crab lollipop, Chicken thali and Mutton thali. Genuinely the food was great! Pomfret was perfectly fried and tasted very much kokani. Chicken and mutton was also very good was perfectly cooked had amazing taste! I liked the fish mainly as this place is famous for seafood and couldn't deny. Fish was very fresh and perfectly fried, even the fish curry in thali was perfect! Very much recommended place for seafood lovers and even for nonveg loverss!

We are Bengali people travelling for work.... we went there by reading the google reviews and I can say all reviews are correct food here is really good. This is the first time in our life we had malvani cuisine and we loved it. Staff here is extremely polite especially a person named Samadhaan ( I hope I remember his name correctly) he is very helpful.. He even showed us how to properly eat a modak... It was so good. If we are to visit Mumbai some time later would surely visit here again.
