Parking is a pain. It’s on the next block and you will really struggle to find an exit to come to the restaurant. Plus the public parking was quite dirty and not maintained at all. Hence, I would definitely advise to either go in your vehicle if you have a driver or take a public transport. The restaurant is located on the 2nd floor. They do not have an indoor toilet and have a public washroom beside it which was quite clean. The decor was quite nice and warm. As we seated down the waiter was quick to attend us. We visited for lunch and thus ordered a Surmai Thali. They also had option of Pomfret and Bombil. Apart from that we ordered Prawns tawa fry. We were enquiring if we should order a glass of Kokkum soul carry which were were advised against as they offered to serve us as much as we want with the food. We loved this gracious offer The food did take about 15 mins to arrive but it was super good. We loved every bit of it. The music was very light thus allow us to have a conversation too. Overall loved the food. Next time if I visit I will have to take care of the parking
I recently visited Coast & Bloom at Dadar and it turned out to be a truly memorable dining experience that beautifully celebrates coastal and regional Indian flavors with a refined touch. We began with the Lobster Thermidor, which was served in a rich, creamy mushroom sauce accompanied by sautéed vegetables, bread, and a perfectly cooked egg. The dish was indulgent, flavorful, and luxuriously satisfying. Alongside, we had the Tandoori Prawns, which carried an excellent smoky char from the tandoor. Paired with fresh green chutney and a sweet-tangy mango pickle, the combination elevated the entire starter experience. For the main course, we opted for the Malvani Fish Curry with Ravas. The fish was exceptionally fresh, tender, and cooked to perfection, soaking beautifully in the aromatic Malvani gravy. We also tried the Chettinad Chicken, which had a bold, spicy profile and was packed with deep, authentic flavors. To complement the curries, we had Malabar Parotta, Ghavane, and Chilli Cheese Garlic Naan. Each bread brought a different texture and paired wonderfully with the gravies, with the ghavane being a particularly delightful and unique accompaniment. We also enjoyed Solkadi, which perfectly balanced the meal with its refreshing, lightly spiced tanginess. For drinks, we tried the Ratamba (kokum-based), Navy Punch, and Ginger Ale, all of which were refreshing and well-crafted. To end the meal, we had the Crab Meat Fried Rice. While pleasant, this was comparatively simpler in flavor and had lesser crab meat than expected. What truly stood out, beyond the food, was the exceptional service. The staff member assisting us went above and beyond — offering curry samples when we were confused between options and even showing us the raw fish to help us understand the portion and quality we would be served. Such thoughtful hospitality added immense value to the experience. The entire meal came to ₹8,236, and considering the quality of ingredients, variety of dishes, and outstanding service, it felt well worth the price. Coast & Bloom is a must-visit for anyone who appreciates coastal cuisine served with elegance, authenticity, and warm hospitality.
One of the best places for dining especially sea food. We’ve been here a couple of times but this time we were here to try out the sea food boil feast that was on. And we ordered all three variety of the sea food boil, namely the manglorean style, butter garlic and the thai variant all were equally good. The price for the sea food boil was very reasonably priced.
