Living in Pune since years now, crossed this place many many many times but never really stopped and bought anything, I was crossing this place the other day and decided to stop to buy a few things. The place is worth the hype, there was a huge crowd and people waiting for their turn to hey their stuff, most of the people were regular there. You should check the menu online before you go else you will get overwhelmed with the veriety for sure. I got a chocolate walnut cake and the famous shrubbery biscuits and both did not disappoint.

Located in the camp area this place is one of the most famous landmark in Pune. The bakery has strict operating hours while it's closed during the afternoon.. guess the typical Puneri style! I'm only reviewing the mawa cake and shrewsbury biscuits for now. The Mawa cake was the best i have had and none in Mumbai can give it a run.. as it was pretty dense and had vanilla flavor while the shrewsbury biscuits literally melt in your mouth. It has a strong after taste of salt and butter but that exactly makes it amazing! Coming to the service.. it's pretty quick as they have to manage the long line outside while the atmosphere is a typical bakery one! Good thing is there have upi as i was worried if they'll demand cash! Looking to try more products whenever i visit them!

Iconic heritage bakery established in 1955, now completed 70 years, unique products, authentic taste and best variety, it opens on specific timings and Sunday is a holiday, anyone visiting Pune, must make it a point to enjoy the taste of Shrewsberry Cookies, sometimes there will long queues but don't miss the thrill
