Leopard Trails, Gurgaon is a very pleasant and beautifully serene place nestled between the hills. We visited in December early in the morning around 5:30–6:00 AM, and due to winter it was still quite dark. The valley areas were filled with dense fog—at some points you couldn’t even see the road ahead. Driving needs to be done very carefully, but the misty surroundings add a unique charm to the journey. After reaching, we waited at the café until around 7 AM. The café is really beautiful, with a peaceful ambience, a duck pond, and a calming natural environment. We had some light breakfast there while waiting for daylight. Later, we started walking and explored the surrounding hills. If you continue straight, there is a trekking path that leads to the top of the hill. We trekked up just in time for sunrise, and the view from the top was absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sun slowly rise above the hills while the entire village below remained covered in thick fog was an unforgettable experience. Standing above the fog felt like floating on clouds, with golden sunlight spreading across the landscape. We headed back around 9 AM, and on the way we also visited a nearby temple, which added a peaceful ending to the trip. Overall, Leopard Trails feels like a perfect escape from city life. After visiting, it genuinely feels like you’ve been to a quiet village surrounded by hills and nature. The cafés are slightly expensive, but that’s expected for a popular tourist spot. Even in the chilly winter mornings around 7–8 AM, you’ll find many people visiting. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth a visit.
I have heard that this place looks much more beautiful in Monsoon but I'd say visit this place on Smoggy Day. The trek is not that though. Very easy and literally anyone can do it. There is nothing much on the hills, just some wild herbs and a few tea points. On the roadways you can find eateries where you can enjoy some really good momos and Maggie. Cafes in this area are also good so if you skip the roadside eateries then these can be your spots.
Leopard Trail: Beauty Worth Preserving It’s a beautiful place near Sohna Road, Gurgaon. The view is stunning—you get a lake, sandy stretches, rocky treks, birds, and lots of street food vendors. It truly has everything. Sadly, due to a lack of civic sense and the absence of dustbins, people throw trash in the open, which really hurts to see. It’s our duty to maintain this place and keep it as beautiful as it used to be in the past.
