Their menu covers all the favourites—crispy dosas, soft idlis, vadas, uttapams and flavourful sambar and chutneys, along with some innovative South-style specials and desserts. Everything tastes fresh, well-balanced, and comforting, just like a proper South Indian kitchen. Service is polite and efficient, and the staff is happy to guide you with recommendations if you’re confused by the variety. it’s a great value choice for authentic South Indian food in East Ahmedabad. If you’re looking for a "no-frills" spot that reminds you of a home-cooked meal in Ahmedabad, this is it. We started with the Medu Vada, which was incredibly crispy on the outside and cloud-soft inside. The star, however, was the Ghee Podi Roast—the dosa was paper-thin and dusted with a flavorful, spicy "gunpowder" that had just the right kick. Don’t leave without trying their Filter Kaapi; it’s served in the traditional brass dabara and has that perfect frothy finish. Quick service and very easy on the pocket. Highly recommended for a weekend breakfast!
If you’re looking for a soul-satisfying South Indian meal, this is the place. The Sambar has that perfect balance of tanginess and spice that’s hard to find, and the Coconut Chutney was incredibly fresh. I tried the Benne Dosa, and it was exactly how it should be—crispy on the outside and soft on the inside with a generous hint of butter. Don't leave without trying the Filter Coffee; it’s the perfect, frothy finish to a great meal. Also try coconut rabdi. Highly recommend to Nikol and near by area.
