Fergusson College, Junior Wing

This place is good for a those newbie who want to start their teaching career but they may giving you extra load of conducting practicals amd exam supervision hence you will be getting exhausted too. Don't releasing the salary on time. Otherwise it is good.

I have taken admission in this college. College building is very big and beautiful, cleanliness of the building is maintained regularly. There are many classrooms in the college building. Departments of various subjects are also located in the same building. Vice Principal office is located on the ground floor while EVS and English department is located on the first floor. Other important departments like mathematics department, electronics department, CS department, Geography department and language departments are located on the uppermost second floor. Classroom are very large they can occupy nearly 150 students at the same time. This building there are classes of 11th and 12th Science and Arts. First lecture starts at nearly 7:30 a.m. while the last lecture ends at 5:10 p.m. It is very nice experience to be at Fergusson College. Various facilities are available in the college. It is one of the most prestigious college in the Pune. You get many such opportunities in this college which you can't get anywhere else. You get the facilities like extensive playground, various competitions, International olympiads and most of all you get to interact with the scholars. Various guidance lectures of the experts are organised for the students. These guest lectures are conducted in college Auditorium. It is also historical building. Entire campus mainly consists of three historical buildings the main building, the library and the auditorium. It is also the oldest college in the Pune and it has the largest campus in the Pune. So really it is a great pleasure to be in such a college, absolutely it also needs the good marks in the 10th board exams. Also there should be a special mention for the Teachers. Teachers are very very helpful but there should be proper attendance for their lectures, once you miss the lectures you can't understand the further teaching.

Campus is good except bathrooms. Cut-off is generally high for all streams but teachers are generally very good. Communication about important events is lacking as notices are posted or written on the notice board one day prior to event which is an inconvenience.
