I recently visited Sarvi Restaurant with high expectations because it is known for its biryani, but unfortunately my experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered mutton biryani, and the first thing I noticed was that the biryani was not hot at all. It felt like it had been prepared long before and simply served without proper reheating. The taste was average and did not match the reputation the restaurant has. The curd served along with the biryani was very bad. It didn’t taste fresh and the quality was clearly poor. We politely requested the staff to replace it with fresh curd, but even the second curd they brought was exactly the same and still not good. What made the experience worse was the service. The staff were not responding properly and seemed uninterested when we informed them about the issue. There was no proper attention or effort to resolve the problem. Additionally, the place did not feel very hygienic, which was quite disappointing for a restaurant that is supposed to be well-known. Overall, the food quality, service, and hygiene were all below expectations. I had a very bad experience here and I hope the management seriously looks into improving these issues so that other customers don’t face the same problem.
Sarvi Restaurant at Ambedkar Nagar, Masab Tank is a well-known spot for authentic Hyderabadi food, and our visit definitely lived up to the reputation. We ordered Dragon Chicken, Loose Prawns, and Chicken Biryani (Family Pack). The prices are very reasonable and the portion sizes are extremely generous, making it great value for money. The Loose Prawns were perfectly crisp and delicious, the Dragon Chicken was flavourful with a nice balance of spice, and the Chicken Biryani was yummy, aromatic, and well-cooked with good quantity for a family. Service was quick and efficient even though the restaurant tends to be busy. The ambience is simple, clean, and comfortable, keeping the focus on the food rather than fancy décor. One thing to note is that parking is limited around the restaurant, and finding a spot can be a bit challenging, especially during peak hours. Planning ahead or opting for cab services would be helpful. Overall, Sarvi Restaurant is a reliable and value-for-money place for quality non-vegetarian food, especially for biryani lovers. Definitely worth a visit.
I have been going to sarvi restaurant since I remember atleast 15 years or more but this time it was a horrible experience. The food was very good but the service is becoming worse most of the service boys are not even from service department and they have zero knowledge about service.and the cleanliness of the hotel has become absolutely pathetic I have shared the pictures . The roof plaster pieces were falling and the curtains have become black . The service boys were looking frustrated and they just bought the food and left it on the table we served ourselves and they were murmuring something in their language (sounded Oriya to me ) . Hopefully the management takes this feedback and work on the areas of improvement. Biryani was served first then came the starters and biryani also we served ourselves in second round waiting to be served . Even the lift with the shattered glass has so much dust in the number panel my son thought its color and touched it and there was half an inch of pure dust on it . Verdict if u want good taste go there but don’t expect good service or cleanliness.
