Had an exceptional dining experience at Namak – Zaike Ka Safar, Hotel Sahara Star! ✨ The restaurant has a beautiful indoor and outdoor setup with a warm, elegant vibe. Service was top-notch, and the staff made the experience even more special. Loved every dish from Karare Dahi ke Kebab, Lazeez-e-Ghosht Seekh, Tandoori Malai Paneer Roll, and Balai ka Tandoori Jhinga, to the rich mains like Ambade ka Murgh, Paneer-e-Pukhtan, and Dal Makhni paired with Laccha Paratha and Cheese Naan everything was bursting with authentic flavors. Ended with their signature Stuffed Gulab Jamun with Laccha Rabdi and Malai Kulfi, which were heavenly! 😋 Also loved the refreshing mocktails. A perfect spot for authentic North Indian gourmet cuisine, great service, and royal vibes highly recommended! 👑

A few days back, I visited Namak, the in-house Indian restaurant at Hotel Sahara Star, and honestly, it turned out to be one of the most wholesome and flavorful dining experiences I’ve had in a while. From the moment you walk in, the ambience instantly sets the tone — soft lighting, elegant interiors, and a calm, luxurious atmosphere that makes you feel like you’ve stepped into another world. The warm welcome with a mogra gajra was such a beautiful, thoughtful touch — it immediately put a smile on my face. I started off with some mocktails — Tropical Sunrise (orange juice, rose syrup, lime & soda), Berry Blast (strawberry & lime), and Blue Alaska (minty, Curaçao-based mocktail). Each one was refreshing, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. Coming to the starters — I went all out! • Bhatti ka Murgh – tender, smoky, and cooked to perfection. • Ghost ka Ghilawat – melt-in-the-mouth mutton galouti kebab served with ulte tawe ka paratha; this one was an absolute star. • Lazeez-e-Ghost Seekh – juicy, well-spiced, and bursting with flavor. • Karare Dahi ke Kebab – crispy on the outside, soft and creamy inside, absolutely delicious. For the mains, I had Laal Mirch ka Kukkad paired with Cheese Garlic Naan and Roomali Roti — the perfect comfort combo. The curry was bold, rich, and full of that authentic Mughlai warmth that just hits the right spot. To end the evening, I indulged in Angoori Rasmalai, which was soft, chilled, and the perfect level of sweetness to wrap up such a flavorful meal. The service was exceptional — polite, attentive, and well-timed. The staff made sure everything was served just right without being intrusive. Overall, Namak is the perfect destination if you’re craving authentic Indian and Mughlai food in a truly luxurious setting. The flavors, presentation, and hospitality are all top-notch. I have been here for dinner after a seminar in the same hotel. Ambience was undeniably pleasing and the soft music added to the charm of the place. I didn't have any issues finding table. Wait time was reasonably good. I made my order and it arrived within 10-15 mins. And quality of food was really good. Not hard on the stomach and yet satisfying the taste buds. The prices were not affordable, as expected. If you are visiting Namak, you are paying for the whole experience and not just the food. The staff was very nice and attentive. They wouldn't bother you but still you'll find them around whenever you need them.
