Went for dinner buffet. Good number of spreads. Salads and desserts were excellent. Main course was good. Had dosa from live counter which was outstanding. Curd rice vathakulambu and tomato rasam were top notch. Non veg spreads were limited when compared with veg. Mutton with drum stick gravy Is a must try. Prawn thokku tasted sweet.Personally, i did not like the taste of Briyanis.Overall a good food .

I visited the newly relaunched Madras Pavilion for their Saturday buffet, and the experience had a clear high point. The dessert section has improved beautifully, with cheesecakes, macarons, mousse, and many other treats that genuinely felt premium and delicious. However, the main food didn’t deliver the same satisfaction. The biryani, which is often praised, didn’t work for me this time, and a few other dishes felt average. I feel the food section can definitely be enhanced, just like the impressive upgrade seen in the desserts. Overall, an amazing dessert experience with room for improvement in the main spread.

The all-new Madras Pavilion at a ITC grand chola,is now open! What I instantly loved about the space are its fresh new colours and bright, cheerful tones. The food counters are thoughtfully organised and beautifully spaced out, with a menu that feels both well-curated and inviting. My favourite corner, the one celebrating millets, is a lovely addition that truly enhances the overall dining experience. There’s also an all-new cocktail menu, and I must say, The Jasmine was my personal favourite. And as always, the dessert counters brought out the child in me — my eyes were darting around even before the sugar rush kicked in!
