Very Instagramable restaurant. Usually this means the food isn’t up to par but not in this case. The food was excellent. Very well balanced in flavour & beautifully presented. The staff are very attentive & have good suggestions. The cocktails are London prices but alcohol in general is expensive in Mumbai. I was struggling to find somewhere to celebrate my birthday as many places either have good food & terrible service or vice versa . Slink and Bardot was excellent on all fronts. The ceviche & feta were stand outs but actually all were great. It has a feel of a 1920s prohibition joint & the black & white projection movie was a bit of something special. Fills up later in the evening.i suggest booking, this can be done via WhatsApp
Hole in the wall place. We made the error of going in at 7. We were there till 930 and the place was not even half full (Saturday night). Apparently, it only gets going after 1030. So we didn't get the vibe we were expecting. Food was good, bar bites were not. Drinks were good, espresso martini, paanch. Staff was great, very well spoken. It's def a bit over priced for the location but the crowd is filtered. Approach road of the place is not appealing and the bar looks out of place.
When you first arrive at Slink and Bardot you might be forgiven for thinking you have arrived at the wrong address. Down z dark narrow aley no signage, just a big red door. But when you get inside its special, beautifully decorated rooms, 3 seperate bars a smoking room. Blown away by the food and atmosphere. Ali the chef was very helpful and guided us through the menu, which is so unusual with unusual twists that we really appreciated it. The dishes are so unique it will probably take a few more visits to try the rest. Not one disappointment. At 10pm the DJ kicks in and played some excellent music.
