Heard a lot about this place. So got a chance and we picked up a couple of items. Everything was good. Definitely lives up to the hype. I love a place with good desserts. And this place does justice. They have a good selection of desserts.
Visited The Madras Kneads in Chennai and tried their Korean Garlic Bun and Ice Cream Sandwich. The place looks really cute and the display is super tempting, but there’s no seating, so it’s more of a quick grab-and-go spot. The Korean bun was actually really good – soft, buttery, garlicky – definitely something I’d go back for. The Ice Cream Sandwich, though, was a bit of a miss. The bread was dry and didn’t pair well with the ice cream. Looked nice but didn’t deliver on taste. Wouldn’t mind dropping by again just for the Korean bun, but overall, it was a mixed experience. Rating: 3/5
