ORCHIDS The International School - CBSE School in Jubilee Hills

I am a parent from Orchids International School, Hyderabad, and felt it is important to share honest feedback about the Annual Day 2025 event. While children and teachers worked very hard, the overall event execution was extremely disappointing and below the standards expected from a reputed school charging premium fees. Key concerns: • The event was held in an outdoor Turf ground at Langar Houz branch just to cut costs — a proper auditorium should have been chosen. • Very poor sound quality and repeated microphone failures made it impossible to hear performances. Many children lost confidence on stage due to this. • Seating was poorly arranged — after 2 rows, nothing on stage was visible. • Schedule was not followed, and there was a complete lack of coordination. • The entire event felt chaotic and not worthy of the efforts put in by the students. We sincerely hope the school management takes this feedback seriously and ensures that future events are well organised, with proper sound systems, better venue arrangements, and a respectful presentation of students’ hard work. We believe that our children deserve a better experience and parents should feel proud, not disappointed.

I'm really happy with my child's experience at Orchids, Jubilee Hills. The teachers are caring and encourage kids to participate in various activities. My child loves the way they teach - it's engaging and fun! The school has good facilities like smart classrooms and a nice playground. They focus on overall development, not just academics - sports, arts, music, Visual arts, Public speaking are all encouraged. Communication with parents is regular and transparent. Safety is a top priority, which gives me peace of mind. Would definitely recommend Orchids Jubilee Hills for a balanced and nurturing environment for kids.

This school is failing in both discipline and promised activities. Students openly carry mobile phones and smartwatches without any checks — the management is either unaware or simply doesn’t care. This is unacceptable. The so-called “extracurricular activities” — music, chess, skating, football, basketball, public speaking — are nothing but a showpiece for marketing. With only 10–15 minutes of actual teaching time, students learn absolutely nothing. My daughter has attended these sessions for 4 years and still doesn’t know even the basics of chess or music. This is a complete failure of the school’s commitment to skill development. On top of this, the school insists on taking fees in cash. If we pay by card, they charge extra, which is unreasonable and unprofessional for an educational institution. Parents must be fully aware of these issues before enrolling their children here.
