Yum Yum Cha Khan Market

I had lunch at Yum Yum Cha in Khan Market today, and overall it was a solid experience. I ordered the orange chicken and the pork pad thai sauce noodles, and both dishes arrived fresh and well presented. The orange chicken had a nice balance of sweetness and citrus. The sauce coated the chicken well without making it soggy, and the texture stayed pleasantly crisp. Portion size was decent for a single serving. The pork pad thai noodles were flavourful and satisfying. The sauce leaned slightly on the sweeter side but still had enough depth to keep it interesting. The pork was tender and mixed evenly through the noodles, which I appreciated. Service was prompt and the ambience was lively but not overwhelming. Pricing is typical for Khan Market, so it is not exactly budget dining, but the quality mostly justifies it. Overall, a good spot when I am craving Indo Chinese comfort food in a slightly upscale setting. Would consider going back to try more from the menu.

Yum Yum Cha at Khan market was really a good choice for pan-asian food. The staff are well trained and bilingual. The food and flavours are amazing. You get on-table serving and preparation show. It is a bit packed. The wait time is also high.

My first visit to this particular outlet of Yum Yum Cha. Be prepared for long waiting time, even during lunch time on a weekday. With just two us, me and my wife, we were lucky to get a table in just about 15 minutes. While we were wondering whether to order one or two of stone bowls, I must admire the honesty of the staff, who suggested that one bowl should suffice for two of us, both Sr citizens. The Sizzling Stone Bowl noodles were really served sizzling hot, were very well mixed before serving, and was truly hammy... thoroughly enjoyed. The place is quite congested, but then, in Khan Market, most eateries have the same issue.
