Tried the chole bhature at Civil Lines wala. Taste is decent, nothing bad, but nothing memorable either. Chole were fine, bhature were okay, a bit heavy. Portion size is good and it fills you up, but overall it didn’t live up to the hype people usually talk about. Worth trying once if you’re nearby, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.
If I compare it with Sitaram Diwan Chand’s chhole bhature, the taste here is also great, but the pricing is a little higher since Sitaram offers it for just ₹90. However, there is a huge difference between Sitaram and the Civil Lines outlet — the chhole quantity here is quite high, so you don’t need to buy extra chhole. Also, the chhole here is more spicy than Sitaram. Overall, it was a great experience with wonderful taste. ❤️
I tried their Chole Bhature at Civil line wale chole bhature and they were decent, but they didn’t really stand out. The Lassi tasted fine, but it was too sweet and not thick like I expected. It felt a bit diluted. Good for a quick bite, but not something I would go out of my way for.
