Kailash Parbat in Salt Lake is a decent place for family dining, especially if you enjoy vegetarian cuisine with a wide variety of options. The menu offers plenty of choices, which makes it easy for groups and families to try different dishes. We went mainly for soups and starters. The soups were decent. Among the starters, the stuffed potatoes and traditional paneer tikka were very good, though the lotus stem could have been better. For drinks, we tried Mirchi Guava and Kala Khata, and both were very tasty and refreshing. The sizzler was decent, and when it comes to desserts, Jamun-e-Jannat and Malai Kulfi are must-tries. The falooda, however, can be skipped. Overall, it was a nice dining experience and a recommended place for family meals and vegetarian food lovers. 🌿🍽️✨
Decent experience, but room for improvement.. Last Sunday,i visited this well-known name for vegetarian food. I ordered Chole Bhature, Vada Pav, and Pav Bhaji, but honestly, all three dishes were below par. The flavours felt muted and didn’t quite live up to the reputation of the brand. That said, the staff was polite and responsive.. when I pointed out a few hygiene concerns (there were some flies and mosquitoes around), they acted promptly and addressed it right away, which I really appreciated. Cleanliness could definitely be improved, and parking is a bit of a challenge, especially during peak hours. Also, for those who might need accessibility, note that this outlet isn’t wheelchair-friendly yet. One small thing to note...they include a service charge in the final bill, so check before tipping additionally. Overall, a manageable experience if you’re nearby and craving vegetarian food, but I’d love to see them raise their game to match the original Kailash Parbat name.
No doubt, Kailash Parbat is one of the finest vegetarian food chains globally, and its recent launch in Kolkata. I visited the Salt Lake branch, a compact yet beautifully designed space with tasteful greenery that adds to the overall vibe. The food quality was top-notch, and portion sizes were generous enough. The staff was courteous, attentive, and quick with service, clearly a well-trained team driving a smooth customer experience. Hope they maintain this; they have a long and promising journey ahead in this city. We tried the Pink Sauce Pasta, Corn Basket Chaat, Tandoori Paneer Momos, Chocolate Shahi Tukda, and Kulfi Falooda, every single dish was impressive. Next time, we’re definitely exploring their North Indian offerings. It’s a wonderful place for vegetarian families looking for quality dining. Prices are slightly on the premium side, but the overall experience makes it worthwhile. One suggestion for improvement — if the service charge is optional, it would be better not to pre-add it to the bill. Anyways it's not allowed now to even add it.. Parking is conveniently available right outside the restaurant. Overall, a strong addition to Kolkata’s vegetarian dining scene. Highly recommended.
