Taj Ice Cream is one of the oldest ice cream spots in Mumbai and it makes for the perfect dessert stop after exploring the surrounding areas of Mohammed Ali Road. We tried the Alphonso Mango, Litchi, and Pineapple ice creams, and all three were excellent and some of the best I have had. The Alphonso Mango stood out with its rich and authentic flavour, while the Litchi and Pineapple were refreshing and well-balanced. The texture of the ice cream is smooth and slightly denser than regular commercial brands, which adds to its appeal. Given its legacy and consistency, it continues to remain a favourite for many. It is especially enjoyable after a heavy Mughlai meal in the area. They also sell family packs for takeaways. A highly recommended stop for dessert lovers visiting this part of Mumbai.
