My overall experience was defined by the outstanding people at Narayana. From the exceptional care and expert guidance of Dr. Hansa & Dr. Sethi to the selfless care of Nurses Urvashi & Amit, I felt I was in excellent hands. The housekeeping team led by Niranjan was equally wonderful; despite forgetting her name, I particularly appreciated the kindness of the lady who handled the dusting. Everyone seemed to smile and genuinely care. I was especially impressed by the Nutritionist, Tithi Singh. She broke my expectations of a 'standard' consultation by providing a very engaging, informative, and personalized 20-minute session. Her knowledge and enthusiasm were top-tier. Forgot to add earlier the entire team assisting Dr. Hansa during colonoscopy were very gentle and comforting, especially a lady with exceptional smile (Haryanvi accent) (sorry I cant recall her name). On the downside, the discharge process was a significant point of irritation. Taking over two hours for a straightforward billing process felt overly bureaucratic. Additionally, while the hospital is clean, the aesthetics of the rooms and general areas could be improved to feel more welcoming. Finally, I noticed the staff often speak quite loudly amongst themselves, which can be difficult for patients trying to rest."

My friend called the hospital to book an appointment with a doctor for OPD. The receptionist's first question was "Do you have medical insurance?" My friend said "Yes, I have". The receptionist said "Bring it, we will cover with it." Finally, my friend said, I will pay the OPD bill by my own and hang up the call after knowing the visiting time. My questions to the hospital: 1) Do you even know what is the issue the patient is having? 2) On what basis you people the planing how the money should be taken when the patient didn't even shown the doctor yet. Where is the empathy? 3) Do you people think first what amount should be charged utilising the medical insurance and then decide the next step? 4) Is it hospital/only money making centre? 5) Do you even know if the patient's mediclaim policy overs ODP or not? Or are you planning from before hand that whoever comes having insurance will hospitalized and gain money out of the insurance company? Due to this behaviour, we have decided not to visit the hospital and get checked by some other doctor. Even though we have medical insurance and enough money to check in OPD. Build some empathy!
