You know Those thick colourful cardboard sweet boxes… 80+ years, and still carrying that same old-school charm. Basha Halwa House has moved into a new shop… but nothing really changes… Went straight for the famous Baked Brown Dum ka Roat. Sooji, khova, eggs, sugar… crusty outside, soft and gooey inside. Also tried their long gulab jamun… and that bright orange gajar ka halwa topped with muskmelon seeds. Absolutely super Sweet and rich…Check out the photos for details on rating and price
One item in the bucket list for long time ticked. Tried their Dum root halwa which is their signature dish. Taste bit different but it is good. Their menu is quite elaborate one and it is not too pricey also. Place is neat and clean.
Basha Halwa Wala is a must-visit if you’re in the mood for some rich, authentic sweets. Their halwa is famous—especially the dumkaroot, which is full of ghee and flavor. One of the iconic sweet spots in town. Simple place, but the taste speaks for itself!
