I recently had a gastroscopy done by Dr. Sheetal Mahajani and had a very positive experience. I am really impressed with madam’s approach towards patients. She patiently listens to your problems, explains everything clearly, and guides you properly about the treatment. The gastroscopy procedure was conducted very smoothly and comfortably, which made the whole experience much less stressful. I truly appreciate her professionalism and caring attitude. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate doctor.
All the staff were extremely helpful and supportive throughout the treatment. Special thanks to Dr. Vishal Murkute for performing the knee replacement surgery so successfully. The entire process was handled with great care, ensuring the patient was comfortable during the operation. We would also like to sincerely thank Mr. Akshay Chavan and Mr. Sumit Jadhav for their tremendous support and assistance throughout the process. Special appreciation to Ms. Anjum, the Nursing Team, Ms. Malati, and Sister Priyassi for being very cooperative, caring, and helpful at all times. Overall, the facilities and staff were excellent, supportive, and compassionate. Bed No.: 231
I had a very traumatic experience during my recent three-night admission at this hospital for Acute Gastroenteritis (AGE). I was admitted with continuous vomiting, severe body pain, and loose motions, and was already in a very weak condition. Unfortunately, the level of care and professionalism I received was far below acceptable standards. During my stay, I fainted due to my condition, and instead of being handled with proper medical care and sensitivity, my hand was injured in the process. Additionally, the IV injection caused severe swelling in my hand. It turned reddish-purple, and I was in intense pain before they finally decided to change it. This added further pain and distress to an already serious situation. What made the experience worse was the clear lack of empathy and support. Since I am originally from Kerala and not fluent in Marathi or Hindi, communication was extremely difficult. Rather than trying to assist or accommodate, the staff appeared indifferent and unhelpful. It felt like I was treated differently because I was not from the local linguistic community. I had no bystander, and I received no cooperation, understanding, or proper guidance from the hospital staff. Basic hospitality and patient support were severely lacking. There were also troubling financial issues. We were informed that if payment was made in cash, an additional ₹15,000 would be charged beyond the insurance amount. My insurance claim was not approved, and instead of helping resolve the matter transparently, the process felt confusing and unfair. Overall, this was one of the worst hospital experiences I have ever had. Healthcare should prioritize compassion, professionalism, and fairness, none of which I experienced here. I sincerely hope no other patient has to go through what I endured. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone.
