Visited The Marina in Chennai on a friend’s recommendation and truly enjoyed the experience. The seafood was fresh and flavourful, cooked perfectly without overpowering the natural taste. Loved the open seafood counter and the overall ambience — calm, clean and well done. Every dish we tried, from the starters to the mains and dessert, was satisfying. The service was courteous and smooth throughout the meal. A solid choice for anyone who enjoys good seafood in Chennai. Will definitely visit again.
Overall had a satisfying lunch but tooooo costly to afford. We were just 10 people and we had the starters alone. The bill cost was 31200. Average 3200 per head without deserts and main course. The sea food dishes are too costly. They display the price per 100 grams of fish, crab and lobster. 100 grams of lobster is 500. We had 1.5 kg and the cost is 7500 for lobster alone. Also we did not get the real feel of having lobster as they already extracted the meat and it just tasted like normal crab. 2 normal size sear fish piece costs rs 1750, which is a lot more. The taste of other dishes were good. But for an average middle class this restaurant is too costly to afford. The squid, other fish items were prepared well.Also I enjoyed the briyani style and taste. Unique taste. The service was super fast.
Had a wonderful dinner at Marina! Super neat and clean place, a must-try for all seafood lovers 🐟. Thanks to Marina for serving us the tastiest food ever! 🍴 We ordered the honey garlic squid, Tikka jumbo prawn, Tandoor jumbo prawn, chicken manchow soup, and fried fish as starters- everything was on point! 💯 A bit costly, but trust me, it was worth every penny! 💸 Would definitely come back for more! Highly recommended!!!!!
