Forget 4.7, this place doesnt even deserve 0.7 stars of rating. We ordered mutton marag, ghee mutton boneless starter, prawn pulao, and istham special chicken pulao. the soup was very good. Then they served the starter, i dont understand why the dish was slightly sweet, it ruined my palate. And then they brought "most loved" istham special chicken pulao and bhimavaram royyalu pulao. Keeping the flavours aside for a minute, both these dishes tasted exactly the same. Both these dishes lack taste, flavour and portion. Each pulao set me back 500 bucks each but food stalls opposite inorbit mall are much better. Simply put, these pulaos tasted like tomato rice we usually make with leftover rice. Prices are way over expensive for the quality of food they serve. Never ever going back to this restaurant.

Visited this place after seeing a 4+ rating on Google and walked in with high expectations, but the experience didn’t quite match the hype. The ambience and service were good, the soup (mutton marag) and the starter (nayyi mamsam roast) were genuinely enjoyable and set a positive tone at the beginning. However, the main course is where things fell apart. The items highlighted as "most loved" were surprisingly underwhelming and misleading, as the dishes we tried didn’t live up to that expectation at all. Both the pulav dishes tasted bland, same rice, same base flavour, just a different choice of protein. It felt repetitive and lacked the richness and depth you’d expect from such recommended dishes. With such good service and ambience, the food, especially the mains needs serious improvement to justify the rating and the pricing.

3Life’s little Critic

We went to Ishtam kitchen for dinner with family on a Sunday. The place was very crowded at 9 o’clock, so we expected the food to be excellent. The ambience was decent enough for a family to visit. Since the place was grounded, the service was a little fast. Maybe they wanted to find quickly. This the food was served on pretty much on time. Coming to the food, we ordered hot Mancha soup, Khaja Paneer, curry Sambar with omelette and desert out of which the Sambar rises with omelette had too much of salt. The kaju paneer curry Was excellent and rest of the food was good. Now, since I have that tried the food once, I’m not sure if I would like to visit it again. Overall you can visit it once if you want to try different taste of the same dishes. It is pretty expensive.
